The Regent
1974, New Zealand. After the death of his mother, young Maori boy Brian (Elijah Tamati) finds an unexpected refuge with three delightfully eccentric nuns at a struggling convent. When shocking news threatens the convent’s future, Brian and his newfound companions, played by screen favourites Miriam Margolyes, Judy Davis and Jacki Weaver, set off on a hilarious road trip to save the home they’ve come to love.
