What is a Company Member?

The Regent is run as a charitable company, and our Company Members play an important role in supporting its future. By becoming a member, you’re not just showing your support – you’re helping shape how the Regent develops, grows, and serves the community.

As a Company Member, you’ll stay connected with what’s happening behind the scenes, receive updates from the Board, and have the opportunity to have your say on key decisions through voting at General Meetings. It’s a simple, affordable way to get more involved in your local theatre and cinema.

Why Become a Member?

Becoming a Company Member is a great way to support the Regent while having a voice in its future. As a member, you can:

• Vote at General Meetings, including the AGM
• Stand for election to the Board of Directors
• Receive regular updates on how the Regent is performing and developing
• Be invited to occasional members’ meetings and communications

Membership is open to anyone who wants to support and participate in the governance of the organisation.

Membership Details

• Membership costs just £2
• Membership runs until 31st December, regardless of when you join
• Membership must be renewed annually
• All applications are subject to approval by the Board of Directors, usually within one month

Joining is simple and can be done in a way that suits you:

• In person at the Box Office during opening hours
