About the charity

The Regent Christchurch is a charity and a company limited by guarantee, here to keep independent cinema and live theatre thriving in our town.

Together with our volunteers, we provide great entertainment and create opportunities to get involved with film and the performing arts across our local communities.

We focus on improving every visit, from the welcome you receive to the comfort, access, and atmosphere in our locally listed building while building local support that helps us invest in the future.

Everything we do is guided by three values: to be welcoming, collaborative, and creative.
